Elektron

In 1997 a handful of students at the university of Gothenburg in Sweden made their first prototype of a synthesizer, based on the sound chip found in the Commodore 64 home computer. The finalised prototype became a marketable product, which made the name Elektron known all around the world. From the highest-standard engineering through the solid industrial design to the sheer time and care spent testing each individual instrument before shipment, quality pervades every Elektron product - and that is to say the least.
